Same thing goes for replacing fixed bathroom fixtures like sinks, tubs and toilets. If the fixture is not really functioning well, then replacing it is perhaps the only solution. Yet if it is still operational and you just don’t like the appearance, perhaps you can just refinish the tub or shower or install a liner on them and do the total replacement later. For minor restorations like repainting or refurnishing the walls, cabinets and other areas in the bathroom, you can save money by doing it on your own but when the task involves re-tiling, replacing of tubs and toilets or other more complicated activities which you are not adept in doing, it would be wise to hire professional bathroom tilers. Good tips! I totally agree that wallpapers are a no-no for bathrooms. Stylish? Yes. Practical? Not at all.
